Wasps are quite a common household pest around the outside of homes in Brisbane.
The most common Wasps we come across are the Paper Nest Wasp (Fig. 1)) and the Mud Wasp (Fig. 2). Paper Wasps as they are commonly called are quite aggressive and will attack people unannounced when they are in the vicinity of a nest. The sting from a wasp is quite sharp and severe for a few minutes but usually eases after 5-10 minutes.
Paper Wasps as shown above build a chain link looking nest or larger round type nests below eaves, around windows and amongst garden plants.
Wasps are treated as standard with our outside Spider Treatment, however for specific wasp problems we have a treatment available.
